April Vacation Camp
April 22 - April 26
Raymond Recreation’s summer staff is offering vacation camp during the Spring break. The camp is open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We will open the middle school with fun & games at 8:00 am each day and we will stay open until 5 pm regardless of what time the bus returns to Raymond. You may drop off/pick up your child at any time we are at the middle school. We will have a variety of activities at the school. Please post our schedule for specifics on each day. Here is our plan for the week:
Monday 4/22 - Playground Day
Tuesday 4/23 - Xtreme Craze
Wednesday 4/24 - Chuck e Chees & Movies
Thursday 4/25 - Boston Children's Museum
Friday 4/26 - Playground Day
The cost for the December camp is $160 for the entire week. If you only want to attend only one or two days, you may pay $30 per day for Playground Daze or $45 for trip day. If you need a shirt/sweatshirt they are $15 each or $25 for the combo. The last day to register is Thursday, April 18.

Granite State Track & Field
2024 Program
Raymond Recreation is offering track & field for youth aged 9 to 14 (born 20010 – 20115). Birth certificates are required; make sure we have a copy on file. Practices are planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. The first practice will be Tuesday, May 7th. The highlight of the season is to compete in the Regional Track Meet, date TBD. Those who qualify advance to the State Meet, date TBD. Transportation is not included.
Pre-registration is required. The fee is $25, which includes a uniform shirt and admission to the meets.
Age groups are: 9 and 10 year olds (born in 2014 or 2015)
11 and 12 year olds (born in 2012 or 2013)
13 and 14 year olds (born in 2010 or 2011)

Lyrical & Jazz
6-8 year olds
April 13th – May 18th
This is such a great combination with 30 minutes of Lyrical and 30 minutes of jazz, each style will consist of warm-ups, across the floor combinations and will end with learning a dance in the center. The class is geared for learning, building self-confidence and coordination while having fun. Although lyrical is similar to Ballet it is less structured and often thought of as one of the most expressive styles of dance. During the jazz portion we will explore different styles from the more stylish Broadway Jazz to the funkier video style Jazz.
The instructor for this course is Sue White. She has been a part of the dance world for over 30 years. Her students include Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary; Modern, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Drama, Voice and Acro.
This 6-week course will run from April 13th to May 18th for children 6-8 years old. Lyrical & Jazz will be held on Saturdays in the Café at the Raymond Middle School from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. The fee for the 6-week course is $60. Non-residents pay an additional $5. Please bring a water bottle and wear a black leotard and tan tights.

Ballet & HipHop
3 – 5 year olds
This class gives your Dancer the best of both worlds with 30 minutes of Ballet and 30 minutes of Hip Hop. The class is designed to not only teach your Dancer basic technique but to teach them how to follow directions, take turns and work as a team. We incorporate fun activities and singing along with the grace of Ballet and the Funky moves of Hip Hop to keep your Dancer smiling.

Mini Sports Program
May 7 - May 28
Raymond Recreation will be holding a Mini Sports Program for 3 to 5 year olds. This program is an introduction into games & sports and most importantly to have fun. Each week we will focus on a variety of sports, games and activities.
This fun and engaging program will be held on Tuesdays from May 7 – 28 from 10:00 – 10:45 am at Cammett Field (off Onway Lake Road). The fee for the 4-week program is $25. Non-residents pay an additional $5.
Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing in layers (if it is warm you can always take a layer off). Always bring plenty of water. We are limited in the number of participants so sign up early.

Preschool Fun!
April 4th – May 2nd
Raymond Recreation is running another Preschool Fun! We are offering a four-week preschool program for children ages 3 to 5. This fun class will include crafts, constructive play, a story and making friends.
Each week there will be a fun new project that is great for listening skills and creativity! These one-hour classes will be Thursday, April 4th to May 2nd from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The cost is $25 per session. Non-residents pay an additional $5.
Preschool Fun is held at Cammett Field. Moms or dads are welcome. Class size is limited to 10. There are NO registrations the day of the class.
