Town Manager, Town of Raymond, NH (Pop. 10,500)

The Town of Raymond is accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. The Town is seeking a dynamic, articulate, and experienced administrator to manage daily municipal operations with 60+ employees, a $7+ M annual budget, and two municipal collective bargaining units in a full-service community.  The Town Manager reports to and receives policy direction from a five (5) member Board of Selectmen and operates in accordance with NH RSA Chapter 37.  http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/iii/37/37-mrg.htm.
Raymond is seeking a strong leader with a track record of integrity and management with a successful background in service as a Town Manager, or in a similar executive level position in either public service or business administration.  A Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree desirable; and 5 years of increasingly responsible management experience required.
Experience and knowledge of fiscal management, economic development, and employee/labor relations required.

      Cemetery Sexton

The Town of Raymond is accepting applications for the position of Cemetery Sexton.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the sale of plots, locating, and marking gravesites, tracking of internments, maintaining burial records and the coordination of burials for all activities at Town cemeteries.

Individual  will work under the general supervision of the Town Manager and Director of Public Works. Job duties are reviewed through monthly meetings, observance of work performed, and feedback from residents.

      On Call Snow Plow Drivers

The Town of Raymond, New Hampshire is seeking to hire qualified New Hampshire plow drivers interested in providing services to the Town for the 2021 -2022 winter season on an as needed basis.


The Town has a fleet of winter maintenance equipment ranging from pick-up trucks to 6-wheel dump trucks with wing plows. When storm intensity and/or staffing shortages dictate a need, we will reach out to the On-Call Drivers to report for duty and assist in winter maintenance operations.


Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a clean driving record, a CDL License and reside within 30 minutes travel time of the Raymond Highway Shed. Snowplowing with a wing plow experience is preferred.


Interested individuals should apply using the Town’s Employment Application. All respondents must highlight the scope of their plowing experience, references and equipment used.


The wage range for this Seasonal position is $18.00/per hour to $22.00/per hour, depending on qualifications.


This position is eligible for Overtime for hours accrued after normal business hours and double time for hours accrued after 16 consecutive hours.


Finalist must complete a pre-employment screening, drug test, physical and background check.

A License History verification may be required.
