Public Safety Dispatcher
The Raymond Police Department seeks an individual for a full-time, non-exempt Dispatcher. Interested candidates should possess an ability to multi-task, have strong written and oral communication skills and computer data entry skills. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays. Starting rate is $18.36 hourly plus incentives as included in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Town of Raymond / Buildings Foreman
The Town of Raymond is seeking applicants for the position of Buildings Foreman. This is a full-time, exempt union position, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This individual plans, coordinates and fully manages the year round and ongoing short and long-term building cleaning and maintenance needs. Activities range from small to medium scale remodeling, coordination of outside repair contractors as necessary, to budget and asset management for Town owned non-school building facilities.
The Foreman plans, coordinates and fully manages daily custodial cleaning activities and addresses building repair needs ranging from heating and air conditioning issues to changing light bulbs. Tasks include painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing repairs to cleaning carpets, moving furniture, washing floors, shoveling snow, mowing, and landscaping. When repair tasks become more complicated, the Foreman will coordinate the procurement of outside contractors and trades people to assist.
The Foreman supervises a full-time custodian and seasonal personnel that assist with larger tasks. Management includes scheduling, assignment of work, instruction, and execution of periodic performance reviews.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with the knowledge of building construction, project management, bidding and budget management. This position requires availability during non-work hours for building related emergencies, election support and assisting the Highway Department with winter maintenance responsibilities.
Works under the direct supervision of the Public Works Director. Duties are performed independently, using technical judgement and knowledge of departmental policy and procedures.
Computer literacy is required with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and the asset management software known as Facility Dude.
Minimum qualifications should include high school / trade school diploma or equivalent; plus at least 5 years of experience in building construction, carpentry, and handyman skills.
Finalist will be subject to a background check.

On Call Snowplow Drivers
The Town of Raymond is seeking to hire qualified New Hampshire plow drivers interested in providing services to the Town for the 2020 -2021 winter season on an as needed basis.
The Town has a fleet of winter maintenance equipment ranging from pick-up trucks to 6-wheel dump trucks with wing plows. When storm intensity and/or staffing shortages dictate a need, we will reach out to the On-Call Drivers to report for duty and assist in winter maintenance operations.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a clean driving record, a CDL License and reside within 30 minutes travel time of Raymond Highway Shed. Snowplowing with a wing plow experience is preferred.
Interested individuals should apply using the Town’s Employment Application. All respondents must highlight the scope of their plowing experience, references and equipment used.
The wage range for this Seasonal position is $18.00/per hour to $22.00/per hour, DOQ
This position is eligible for Overtime for hours accrued after the completion of a 40-hour consecutive work week.
