Town of Raymond - Tax Collector

 

The Town of Raymond is accepting applications for the position of Tax Collector to function independently in all official Tax Collector responsibilities while working with the Town Manager and Board of Selectmen to address issues relating to tax and deeded property matters. This is a part-time (flexible schedule), non-exempt position responsible for administrative and technical work involving the collection of all taxes due to the Town of Raymond, lien and deed noticing, disposition of deeded properties, overseeing Town’s Back Tax Program, contracting of services and preparation of Tax Default Report for Board of Selectmen Action; all other related work as required.

This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual will exercise independent judgment and initiative in the planning, administration and execution of the department’s services, in the interpretation and application of laws, regulations and procedures.  Performs a variety of responsible functions within the guidelines established by statute and professional standards. Must be able to operate Microsoft Office Suite; experience in Munismart preferred.

FULL TIME EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER/MECHANIC

 

The Town of Raymond, NH is accepting applications for the position of full time Equipment Operator/Truck Driver/Laborer/Mechanic.  This is a 40-hour a week position, typically Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm in the Department of Public Works.

This position requires the skills necessary to address routine vehicle maintenance, road maintenance and a variety of other tasks.

PAY RATE:  $19.50 - $24.00/hour

DISPATCHERS

The Raymond Police Department is seeking individuals for full-time and part-time, non-exempt Dispatcher(s). Interested candidates should possess an ability to multi-task, have strong written and oral communication skills and computer data entry skills. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

The starting rate is commensurate with experience and ranges from $22.34 to $29.40 for full-time and $18.45 to $21.58 an hour for part-time.

 

Additional benefits include:

  • Weekday Shift differentials:

    • 3pm-11pm        $.90 per hour

    • 11pm-7am         $1.10 per hour

  • Weekend Shift differentials (Friday 11pm to Sunday 11pm):

    • 7am-3pm           $.55 per hour

    • 3pm-11pm        $1.75 per hour

    • 11pm-7am         $2.15 per hour

  • 11 holidays paid at time and one-half.

  • Communications Training Officers (CTO) stipend $2.00 per hour while working in that capacity.

  • Uniform Cleaning Allowance $400 for full-time and $100 for part-time

  • Longevity Bonus $250 paid annually after completion of 10 years employment.

  • Course reimbursement incentives dependent on grade received for relevant course work at post-secondary educational institutions.

  • Military Service stipends:

    • Honorable discharge after 2 years military service $.25 per hour

    • Honorable discharge after 4 years military service $.50 per hour

  • Education stipends:

    • Associate degree           $.25 per hour

    • Bachelor’s degree          $.50 per hour

    • Master’s degree              $.75 per hour

    • Doctorate (PhD)            $1.00 per hour

Police Officer (Full-time & Part-time)

The Raymond Police Department is accepting applications for:

Full-Time Police Officer- $53,608.25 to $70,544.65 per year based on experience.

  • Top step after 8 years, 4% increase between steps.

  • Experienced officers to be placed commensurate to experience.

Part-Time Police Officer- $21.39 an hour.

Incentives and differentials per the CBA with Teamsters to include:

  • Education/Military Pay

  • Shift Differential Pay

  • Longevity Pay

  • Certification Pay for specialized certifications.

  • Annual Uniform Cleaning Allowance
