Holiday Ladder Frame

Crafting is a great way of getting in the spirit for the Holiday season!  Come and make this interchangeable Christmas ladder frame.  Two different Christmas inserts for the ladder, which you will paint and put together, will be offered.  Below, choose the insert you want to design.  At the end of the night, you will have this beautiful interchangeable ladder frame that will add to your Christmas décor.


Debbie Richard, the owner of DGRKEEPSAKES has been making wooden signs and home décor for the past 5 yrs.  She is known for her wooden door hangers but have been pivoting into more of the laser cutting décor aspect which she loves.


This class will be held in room 200 at Raymond High School on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 6:00 pm.  The cost of the class is $35.00, which includes all materials.  Non-residents pay an additional $5.00. Stretch, Strengthen and Tone Yoga

Middle School Library

 Good for beginner to intermediate. Class will offer some advanced poses to suit your needs for that day. You will be encouraged to use your breath to move in and out of poses and at your own pace. You will be encouraged to let go of judgment, competition, focus on your breath and be in the present moment. Dress comfortable and avoid eating a large meal 2-3 hours before class.

The instructor for this course will be Monica L Cyr, a Raymond resident and a certified Yoga Teacher in the Vinyasa Style and a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui/Tibetan system of healing. With 22 + years of teaching experience, in both group and private settings, she believes in tailoring her classes to the individual needs of her students to ensure a positive experience for all.

Classes will be held in the Raymond Middle School Library. Non-residents pay an additional $5.00 (unless you zoom in for class). Please make the check payable to Raymond Recreation Department; you can also pay the instructor the night of class.

The fee for this 6 week session is $35.00 per person.

What is Zumba?  Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness cardio based workout that with incorporated sculpting exercises tones the entire body top to bottom. Zumba takes you on an international journey through dance and rhythms including Salsa, Reggaeton, Merengue, Cumbia and much more. 


The instructor for this course is Marissa Olivier. She has taught children’s dance and Zumba for Raymond Recreation for the past several years. She also has 10+ years dance experience which she is excited to bring to Zumba Fitness!


Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers (older worn sneakers work best).  Bring water!  You are more than welcome to bring your own set of 3-5 lb dumbbells.  You must be at least 17 years old to sign up for this class.


Zumba will be on Tuesdays.  The cost is $7 for drop in or $35 for a 6-class punch card. Classes will be held 6:30 – 7:15pm every Tuesday in the Raymond Middle School cafeteria.  Click here for the liability waiver form.

Adult Basketball

Raymond Recreation will be offering an adult basketball program.  This is a pick-up program (we do not have a league or set teams).  The session will run from November 30 through February 8 (no program on December 28). This program meets on Wednesday evenings from 8:30 to 10:00pm at the Gove Middle School Gym. 


The fee for the 10-week season is $30. You must have a Rec waiver on file to participate.  Sign-in sheets will be on-hand each week, please remember to sign-in.
