Virtual Summer Reading is Coming!

This year, Summer Reading will look a bit different, but rest assured, pandemic or no pandemic, we will have our program! It is offered virtually via READsquared.

To sign up, click on the READsquared link and create a username (your e-mail address) and password. Children may create their own account or, if parents feel more comfortable, a family account can be created. Once you have created your account simply log in and record your daily minutes of reading.

Each minute of reading = 1 point and your goal is to reach 700 points, which is approximately 15 minutes of reading per day.
The program lasts for 7 weeks, from June 15th through July 31st, and Raymond children ages 3-13 are welcome to join.
If you have any questions or need more information call Betty Wynne at 895-7058 or e-mail

Story times for Raymond children ages 3 - 6 are held on

Attention Story Time Parents

If there is a 2 hour delay or cancellation for the Raymond School District due to inclement weather, Story Time will be cancelled for that day.

(Cancellations generally scroll on most local TV stations.)

If you are unsure, call the library at 895-7058 before heading out on snowy or icy roads.

The Dudley-Tucker Library would like to encourage Raymond families to read 1000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten.

Come to the library to register and pick up your reading log.  After you reach 100 books you will receive an achievement sticker and your very own library book bag with our special NH 1000 Books Before Kindergarten logo (while supplies last).

Raymond children from birth through age 5 are invited to participate.  Call the library at 895-7058 for more information.
