TRASH/RECYCLING PICK-UP DAYS

There will be no trash/recycling pick-up on Wednesday, March 20th, due to the impending storm, Trash/recycling pick-up will occur on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week.

Weather, Holidays and Waste/Recycling Collection - a note from Waste Management...
The town currently has the curbside trash and recycling collection contract with Waste Management. The trash and recycling is required to be at the curb by 7 a.m. of your designated collection day. Only household trash in designated town green trash bags and recycling is eligible for pickup at the curb; all other items should be brought to the towns Transfer Facility on Prescott Road.
You will find on the towns website the telephone number, the rates and other miscellaneous important information under the "Transfer Facility Guide". This facility is operated for the town by Bestway Disposal.
The trash and recycling are picked up Tuesday thru Friday in town. If there is a Monday holiday during the week it does not affect pickup.

Trash bags may be purchased at the following locations: Hannaford's, Downtown Convenience Store, Ben Franklin's, Raymond Town Office and Gibbs Oil.

Household Hazardous Waste Day is on the last Saturday in September. It is held at the end of Industrial Drive by Jackson Lumber across the street from the Safety Complex off of Old Manchester Road. The collection usually runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call Public Works at 603.895.4735 x 108 or email dogrady@raymondnh.gov for additional information.
